He turned around, Ouff followed, And they safely made their way Straight back across the Nowhere Plains,
Into Forever Land again, Back to the light of day.
When safe outside the Danger Zone, Ouff sat down on the ground. He looked at Humphrey with a grin
And rubbed his warty, hairy chin, Then said "I'm glad I'm found"
Humphrey turned to Ouff and said "That place is just for fools. You see the DANGER sign up there?
It means STAY CLEAR, LOOK OUT, BEWARE! What did you learn in school?!"
"We didn't have a school" said Ouff. "I never learned to read, Or how to add up sums or write,
I don't think I'm very bright, But I'm very strong indeed!"
"What nonsense," Humphrey chuckled. "It's simple when you try. If you can learn the A,B,C,
The rest of it comes easily. I'll help you by and by."
"But I must make our rescue call." He lifted up the Shell And held it firmly in his hand.
A Chime rang out across the Land. "I hear!" said Clarazel.
For the services you've rendered I have a gift to give. Take Ouff and follow on the Map
To where the Bridge does cross the Gap. Close by is where you'll live.
The Castle's yours for always. That's if you care to stay? I hope you will, for this I know,
This is a Land where you can grow For ever and a day."
Humphrey looked bewildered, Then a broad smile crossed his face. "I thank you Clarazel, my friend,
It seems I'm near my journey's end, I think I've found my place."
"Goodbye for now then, Humphrey. Take care in all you do. Be happy in you new-found Home,
And when you need, take time to roam -  You'll find folk welcome you."
The Magic Shell grew silent. And Humphrey turned to say "Come on now Ouff, it's time to go.
We've leagues to travel - don't be slow -  Why waste another day?!"
